Painted by the Time op. 32 (2010)

The composition is a memorial piece of an excursion in Sintra (Portugal, near to Lisbon, founded in the 8th century, a summer royal residence from the 19th century). The title refer to the walls and alleys painted by the water, the mildew and the wind. The composition is dedicated to Sandra Nedzvecka (radio editor of the Latvian Radio) with whom the composer discovered this fabulous landscape.
